If you want to know whether your marriage will survive, look at your spouse’s yearbook photos.
Wrong. Because our high school yearbook pictures are when we all really shine in life, right? The photographer at my high school is lucky I didn’t show him how I really felt during that photo session by trying to stab myself in the eye.
Besides, if my upcoming marriage is doomed in any way whatsoever, I find it hard to believe that the awkwardness that is my h.s. yearbook photo (pictured below for your entertainment) would lead to its (god forbid) ultimate demise.
If the success of my marriage is based on this image, Mr. Norak and I have (at best) a 17% chance of making it work.
